Inclusion for all talent

A workforce composed of a diverse spectrum of people with different profiles and backgrounds represents a vast source of wealth both for employees and the company as a whole.

We are especially committed to encouraging women into all our lines of work. Indeed, we promote gender equality not only because it is our duty to advance social justice, but because we recognise it boosts business performance.

“All our people here at VINCI Construction live and breathe our values of humility, team spirit, excellence, entrepreneurship and transparency. None of these shared values are gender-specific and they guide us in everything we do.”

Head of Diversity and Inclusion, VINCI Construction

Our vision

To empower all our people to thrive and express their individuality in their day-to-day work.
It is our priority to encourage and support gender diversity and equal opportunities.

How we take action

The construction industry has traditionally been a male-dominated environment, where roles are primarily concentrated on worksites and employees are often required to carry out physically demanding tasks. A drive to change practices, increase mechanisation and introduce working time arrangements, alongside sustained efforts to transform mindsets regarding the importance of respecting difference, are really starting to improve gender balance, even though much more still needs to be done by everyone in the construction industry.

At VINCI Construction, we are working towards several objectives:[NA1]

  • Deconstructing stereotypes
  • Expanding our talent pools
  • Promoting women at every level in the organisation

The goal is to further gender equality and create opportunities for our female employees and future talent!

VINCI Construction launched the Equality plan to fast-track gender diversity in its teams.

It sets a clear objective to ensure at least 30% of managerial roles across VINCI Construction are held by women by 2030.

The plan to enhance gender diversity and equal opportunities involves taking action at every level – recruitment, career development, training, communication and management.
