Chairman, VINCI Construction International Network
Born in 1968, Gilles Godard is an alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique, a Ponts et Chaussées engineer and a qualified architect. He began his career at the French Ministry of Construction and in 2002 became CEO of SYTRAL, the organisation in charge of the Greater Lyon transport network.
In 2007 he joined the AECOM Group in London, where he developed their advisory services for financiers on infrastructure asset transactions.
In 2009 Gilles Godard joined VINCI Concessions, serving as CEO of Olympia Odos, the company in charge of the Athens – Corinth – Patras motorway concession under construction.
In 2014 VINCI Contracting appointed him project director on the Tours-Bordeaux high-speed railway construction project.
In 2016 Gilles Godard was appointed Chairman of VINCI Construction International Network.
