Water systems, Kingston, Jamaica

Because of Jamaica’s very uneven precipitation, improving access to drinking water is a crucial goal throughout the country.

Replacement, renovation and construction of water facilities are challenging for Jamaica because the tropical climate causes very uneven precipitation from one region to another.

In its 15-year partnership with the National Water Commission, VINCI Construction Grands Projets has worked on projects designed to provide people in Jamaica with improved access to water resources over much of the island, including Kingston, the northwest parishes, Lucea, and Montego Bay for drinking water production and distribution systems and Mona & Hope and Bogue for treatment plant upgrades.
